Portland TV

The Portland was a TV concept that focused on streaming media experiences which were optimized for Millennial viewing behavior. Beyond focusing on OTT content, music and social media it also had a unique feature having a screen that could rotate in portrait or landscape view. My team and I worked on the UI design and motion for this project.


We started off putting together a mood board consisting of images that worked either horizontal or vertical and had poster like styling.


Below are a few static screens showing different states of the UI in use. The left shows the top level navigation. The right shows a level deeper.

The UI and navigation also had to make sense when in landscape mode. Below are examples of the UI horizontal.
